A Welcome Note From Musicland
Welcome everyone, to another musically exciting year at Kew High. Term 1 has seen many performances already at our various lunchtime concerts and assemblies. The Stage Band performed at a whole school assembly in March and provided a very enjoyable musical interlude as they played Harlem Nocturne and that old chestnut The Pink Panther. The Production band is already busy rehearsing for this year's school production, which is Guys and Dolls. The music is very enjoyable and many audience members of an older vintage will certainly recognise many of the songs.
At the very start of Term 2 all instrumental music students will be involved in the first of our two annual music camps. Music Camp One will run from April 22 to April 24. Our Jazz and Swing night this year will be at the QPO, at Kew junction, towards the end of Term 3.
There are many performances and events to look forward to during the year and we hope to see you at all of these.
