Kayaking in Port Phillip Bay

Although there wasn’t enough time post remote learning for students to go on a camp, the next best thing was to go to Sandringham Harbour and kayak in Port Philip Bay. Between the two Year 11 OES classes, all weather conditions were experienced. During one of the class excursions, the positivity and resilience of Northcote students was tested and proven, as the cold, wet and windy conditions were pretty challenging! This excursion was a great way to link in the concepts and theory learned in class with real world examples.
