Graduation Ceremony

Congratulations to our Class of 2021

What a night! It was with great pleasure (and relief!) that we were finally able to get together to celebrate the graduating class of 2021. After not being sure what Graduation would look like this year, it was amazing to see the Grand Hyatt filled with lots of finely dressed, happy students, as well as proud family and staff.   

This year’s cohort were brilliantly led all year by their Captains, Stella, Kit, Lucy and Zac, and their final farewell speech encouraged us all to consider the wonderful contributions that the class of 2021 has made to Northcote High School over the last 6 years. 

The night was filled with some wonderful musical performances from students in year 11 and 12, and an inspiring reminder from guest speaker, Linh Do, that making a difference in the world can sometimes be challenging, but ultimately positive and rewarding. 

As a school we are incredibly proud of how our Year 12s navigated a very disruptive and uncertain final year of study.  To see the resilience, grit and determination to do their best in tough conditions is a testament to the character of each and every student. 

So farewell class of 2021, may you continue to chase your dreams and apply that grit and determination to all that you do.  Best of luck for all your future endeavours, and remember, you are forever Northcote!
