Gardener’s Assistant job opportunity

 

We are a long-established landscape business based in Preston. We design, renovate, undertake plant installation, manage, and maintain some of Melbourne’s most prestigious private estates.

We are looking for a Gardener’s Assistant who is motivated, someone who takes pride in their work and has the following skills to join our team:

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • An interest in Gardening.
  • A desire to learn about horticulture
  • Attention to detail.
  • A strong commitment to working safely 
  • Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
  • Are self-motivated. 
  • Can take direction and open to new learning's.
  • Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Punctual, reliable and honest.

 

The position is available for an immediate start.  Remuneration will be as per the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award 2020.

A sound work ethic, good interpersonal skills and a friendly, respectful disposition are key to being successful in this role.
