Soft shell jacket - did you know?

With the new Soft Shell Jacket range, did you know that there are three styles?

You can buy whichever style is most suited to your student (ie Primary can buy mens or ladies, Secondary girls can purchase mens)

• Childrens - size 4/6C to 16C Straightline cut
• Mens - size S to 2XL *Straightline cut
• Ladies - size XS to 2XL *This style is gently contoured in shape for a feminine look.

Outer: 100% Polyester

Inner: Bonded textured fleece lining

FEATURES: lightly water repellent and wind resistant, stand up collar with soft chin guard, scalloped longer back tail for added warmth

Fitting note - These are slightly smaller than the sports tracksuit jacket. If you have a S in this, then it is advised that you would need a M for this Soft Shell Jacket

Secondary and Senior Girls Skirts

The NCS Uniform Policy states - The length of all primary dresses and secondary skirts must be long enough to touch the knee. 

Please refer to the uniform page on our website. https://www.ncs.nsw.edu.au/uniforms The product sold in our online store is made to a standard 'to knee length'. This does not guarantee that it will sit at the knee on every student. When fitting for the skirt, we would like to recommend that you consider the length of the skirt, rather than the waist. This means that if the length is correct and the waist is too loose, then you should alter to fit your child. If you prefer not to adjust at the waist, then ensure that there is enough hemline to be able to drop this to the required length. See Clothing Alterations section in FAQ in our online store.

Important information regarding the new school logo on uniforms

The uniform room currently has considerable stock which has the old logo and will continue to sell it until it runs out. As items need to be re-ordered, most will display the new logo.

Unfortunately, there is no way around having a transition period when a new logo is introduced. There will be some items with the new logo and some with the old. This transition period will last until at least the end of 2024. That means any items you buy with the old logo will still be able to be worn until at least this time.

Currently, the new logo can only be guaranteed on the soft shell jackets and the new red polo when it arrives in Term 2 thisyear. There are some sizes of other items that may have the new logo, but it really depends on the size and stock levels.

Secondhand Uniforms

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have not been able to allow parents/carers onsite to view secondhand uniform items. To get around this issue, we have now placed all our secondhand stock online. This limited secondhand stock can be ordered online under the Miscellaneous menu on the NCS Uniform Online Store (see below).

Secondhand donations

We are always willing to accept donations of current uniform items. However, they must be in good condition (ie. no pulls, no stains, no undone hems, severe fading etc) and must be washed prior to donating. Thank you.

Uniform store hours

In order to limit the need for parents/carers to enter school grounds, the uniform store will remain closed until further notice (except for advertised fitting days). You can still order online and orders will be filled as quickly as possible. Please note when ordering online

Please note when completing an online order, you can register as a customer instead of using the system as a guest. This will allow you to view all of your past orders, add wish lists and even create messages directly related to your orders. Any "store credits" that need to be issued can then be done in this Customer Account.
