School Sports Victoria - Year 9/10 Winter Sports Day
On Friday 7 May, students from Years 9/10 represented Aitken College in the School Sports Victoria Woodlands Division. The students enjoyed a good day where they achieved some great results while competing against schools within the Hume City Council area. Results were:

A very successful day for Aitken with one team progressing through to the Northern Metropolitan Region finals. Congratulations to the Boys Soccer team who have progressed to the next round on Friday 6 August. Next up will be sports in Term 3 for the Year 9 and Year 10 students.

School Sports Victoria Cross Country Carnival
On Thursday 22 April approximately 75 students enjoyed a great day at the cross country carnival for School Sports Victoria at Woodlands Historic Park. All students ran their best with 59 students progressing to the Northern Metropolitan Region (NMR) Finals. Special mention goes to the following students who were ribbon recipients for the day. The NMR Finals will take place on Wednesday 23 June at Bundoora Park.
It was great to see so many students from Aitken College participating and running personal bests on the day. I look forward to seeing Aitken’s cross country results improve again next year.
