Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July is a global movement in which millions of people aim to be part of the solution to plastic pollution so that we can have a cleaner school, community and environment.

In connection with this, NEST has come up with some exciting programs for the month of July in which we aim to raise awareness and incorporate activities in which people can do some reusing and recycling.  Some of the things to look forward to for Term 3 is a RedCycle recycling competition between houses, workshops, guest speakers and more!

During the holidays, do as much as you can to recycle or reuse anything you can in the month of July - so hopefully you can make it a habit for all year round!

Also keep in mind! Nossal is still running the Mobile Muster Competition so make sure to ask your parents, grandparents, cousins or even neighbours if they have any old phones or phone accessories lying around that they don't need, because these can be recycled - the program closes in mid to late July, so try and bring it in during the first few days of Term 3.

Happy Recycling!
