Canteen

Hi everyone

Last week I had a group of Grade 4 students, including Amber, Elinor, Layla, Grace, Kurtis, Polly and Abi speak to me at the canteen window about a petition they had instigated. They asked that the Canteen sell Dino snacks and they had collected over 100 signatures from students! We discussed the limitations imposed by the government, which help me plan menu items and after some investigations, I am happy to report that we can include Dino snacks in our menu.

So, we have a new item 'Delicious Dino Snack Bento Box' - $7.50 and ONLY available on Wednesdays. Congratulations Grade 4's!

      Delicious Dino Snack Bento Box:

• 4 x Steggle's Dino Snacks with your choice of Tomato or Sweet Chilli sauce
• Orange Slices
• Popcorn
• Pretzels
• Carrot and cucumber sticks with Tzatziki dip
• Drink of your choice

New Items:

Unfortunately I have had to take Twisted Frozen Yoghurt Cups off the menu due to quality issues. These have been replaced with a new 'green' everyday item - Chilly Custard Pops - $1

Chilly Custard Pops are made from vanilla custard - gluten and egg free - that has been frozen onto a stick and are proving to be a winner at the window already.

Antipasto Bowl - $3.30

Hollowed out bread roll filled with ham, salami, cheese, olives, grissini bread stick, baby spinach leaves, vegie sticks and your choice of dip.

Donut Morning Tea:

Thankyou to Debbie, Sally, Julie and Sher for your help at last week's Donut Morning Tea. Canteen sent out 247 orders! I hope the kids enjoyed the special treat.

Open Night Passport Icy Poles:

Kids - please remember to bring your completed passports from the school Open Night to the canteen by Friday 28th May to receive your Quelch Icy pole!
