Sustainability Group

Our recently formed and enthusiastic sustainability group have begun brainstorming and planning activities....

Our first....

Knowing that many students like to garden and help out we are offering "Lunchtime gardening groups". These will begin on Monday and will be offered to the Early Years Students for this term.

Groups of students will work with our Student leaders improving areas in our school. We look forward to seeing the difference.

In celebration and recognition of World Environment Day on June 5th we are planning 2 special events.

Monday 7th we are holding a "Go Green" casual day. On this day you can wear anything green - green clothes, green socks, green hair... 

We will ask for a gold coin donation and the money raised we will purchase plants for our school to acknowledge World Environment Day...

"Book Swap" - this will be held in the library. You will be invited to bring in books from home and swap them with other donated books. More details to follow.....

We invite all students (or the community)  to offer any ideas they have to our group.
