Congratulations to Gwen Fitzgerald

Congratulations to Glen Eira's Citizen of the Year, Gwen Fitzgerald who is one of our parishioners. Gwen has dedicated the last decade to helping those in need in her community, through her work in establishing Tony's Cafe.

Tony's cafe is a small operation that provides meals, help in finding emergency accommodation, free showers and other necessities to vulnerable people in Glen Eira, Gwen brings people together and provides some respite from loneliness. 

We congratulate Gwen on the well-deserved award.

Tribute

We would like to acknowledge the special contribution of  Patricia Whitelaw to our school and parish community. Patricia sadly passed away on the 8th of June. She is survived by her daughters Kerrie and Deborah. Pat worked as the parish and school secretary for over twenty years before her retirement in 2002. May she rest in peace.
