Literacy

I am looking forward to these school holidays and have in the past enjoyed reading "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delilah Owens and "American Dirt" by Jeanine Cummings (I am open to suggestions if anyone has any ideas?).  

Now that my children are a little bit older, my youngest is in Year Three, I often encourage (demand) compulsory reading time where we all read our books.  I find that during these times my children are engaged and enjoy being together but off in their own little worlds.
