Parents & Friends' (PFA)

Hello Families

Another term done and haven’t the holidays snuck up on us!

Covid has slowed the PFA down in the last few weeks with the postponement of the Trivia Night & Dad’s Movie Night but the Ladies of St Anthony’s were able to squeeze in their Ladies Lunch, albeit a few weeks later than planned. By all accounts a good time was had by all those who attended.

The Cake raffle has gone ballistic this term with the quality of the cakes now at extraordinary levels. Thanks to Kate Buik for organising and of course the families who are contributing each week to the baking of the goods.  Todays cake is donated by the Lumsden family - a very appropriate theme being the last day of Term!

Looking forward to Term 3, get your diaries out for the following events:

Parents' Trivia Night: Friday 30th July. This event has a history of being a fun filled action packed event so keep a look out for the ticket information. To get everyone in the mood here is a practice question:

Question: What is the capital city of Cuba?

Finally, on behalf of the PFA we wanted to recognise the great work the school did to plan out the last round of lockdown and keep the kids busy.  It didn’t go unnoticed by the PFA and we thank all the teachers and staff for their hard work to pivot to home learning with very little notice.

Have a great holidays and we’ll see you back for Term 3.
