Home & School Association 2017-2018

The Home and School Association/School Council would like to remind families to please check the Northlea website regularly (www.northleaschool.ca) for updated school news and reminders, including back to school procedures and much, much more!

 

Also, the Home and School Association/Council has officially gone paperless (or almost paperless)! On the first day of school, we will send a detailed communication with important links to our website, where parents will be asked to do the following:

 

1)     Provide consent to be included in class lists

2)     Provide consent to receive communications from the Home and School Association/School Council (these include our weekly newsletters with school news and reminders, Home and School event information, etc)

3)     Learn about and sign up to be considered for the role of class parent, if desired.

 

As well, the Kiss n’ Ride program is set to start on the second day of school. In order for this program to run smoothly, we are in need of more volunteers. All it takes is a few minutes of your time, once or twice a month! If you can lend a hand, please contact our KnR coordinator, Valerie Cooke, at valeriecooke68@gmail.com.

 

Finally, did you know that you can receive a daily digest of new postings from our website, delivered daily to your inbox? This does not replace giving consent to the items mentioned above, but it will help you stay informed on a regular basis about anything new at school! The link to sign up can be found on the bottom left corner of the front page of our website.
