RGAR, Whole School Awards

Our new Whole School Rewards Program  recognises the efforts and achievements of all our students. The program is directly linked to our 4 school values and students have the opportunity to be awarded a Values card, related an outstanding behaviour or achievement. Year Level Assemblies will be held throughout each term and these gatherings will allow students who are awarded Value Cards to be recognised and accomplishments celebrated.

When a student receives a Values Card, parents will receive a text message and a compass notification and students will be encouraged to take their Cards home to show their parents.

Traffic and Parking Around School

Please be aware that there has been an increased presence of parking enforcement officers along Stately Drive and connecting streets. Please consider the following to keep your, and other children safe

Park the car in a legal parking area (in all weather conditions) and walk your child to meet them at the school gate

- Avoid parking on the opposite side of the road and calling your children. Excited children often dash out onto the road and forget to look for traffic.

- You are not to park within 20 metres of the approach side, and 10 metres of the departure side, of a children’s crossing unless parking bays are marked

- Never park or drop off children on the school crossing no matter how brief it seems

- Never double park. This means you are not allowed to stop next to another vehicle to let passengers in or out

- Avoid letting children walk through car parks. Teach them the dangers of reversing vehicles, cars on the move etc.

- Insist your children get in and out of the car using the safety door (the rear kerb side door). This will keep them out of the flow of traffic

- Make sure your children are buckled up at all times when the vehicle is moving
