From the Principal's desk

That's a wrap!

So Term 2 has practically drawn to an end. We thank all our students for working so diligently this term, and all our families for supporting children in their learning and making this such a great school. Last Friday, our Trivia night was a huge success, largely due to the hard work of our School Council, Rob Smith, and all the competitors who entered enthusiastically into the spirit of the night. I am sure the children will enjoy the new microscopes that we will purchase with the money raised.

Next term we see Krystin Mynard joining us in Mr Jenner's room, as David takes a well deserved long service break for the first 4 weeks. Krystin has been working in our school for the last year tutoring our Koorie students and has also on occasions, relieved teachers when they have been away. I am sure 45J will make her welcome.

I have attached our phone policy later in the newsletter which is already inline with the  direction mentioned yesterday by the Education Minister, James Merlino.

I wish all our families a a safe, fun filled holiday break.

I know I am looking forward to curling up with a book in front of the fire. I already have 5 books picked out that I am dying to read. Here they are:

Once - Morris Gleitsman

Becoming - Michelle Obama

Nine Perfect Strangers - Liane Moriarty

Bridge of Clay - Marcus Zusack

War Storm - Victoria Aveyard

What will you be reading?
