Swimming Carnival
Those 8-12 year olds who have elected to swim in 50 metre races at our Carnival this Friday have completed their trials.
On the day of the carnival students will leave school at 9am to head to the pool. The focus of our Carnival is the 50 metre events which provide a pathway for students to qualify for the Diocesan Swimming Carnival which Moree will be hosting this year on the 21st February. It is an expectation that students who can swim 50 metres will participate in 50 metre events. Students who swim in 50 metres events earn 2 participation points for their house each time they race and have the opportunity to earn Championship points giving themselves and their house extra points. Students who compete in 25 metre or across the pool events earn one house point for the day.
Parent Helpers
A big thank you to our parent volunteers this year, without them, we would not be able to run this great day for our students.
Timekeepers: Tracy Diefenbach, Loiuse Vaughan, Veronica Schmude, Tennille Clark, Sharon Stuart, Matthew Pett, Kate Adams, Marsha Schaefer and Lisa Fergusson
