W.B Leadership Project
Nominations are open for the next cohort of the Western Bulldogs Leadership Project!
It’s a six month social leadership program for;
- Young people aged 14-16
- Male and Females
- Emerging leaders – young people who are displaying leadership potential who aren't yet engaged in a leadership program currently
- Representatives from a cross section of the community
What is the Western Bulldogs Leadership Project?
The Western Bulldogs Leadership Project is a dynamic education program delivered by the Western Bulldogs Football Club in partnership with local councils.
The intensive 6-month program provides local young people with hands-on opportunities to build capacities in leadership, teamwork, communication, goal setting and resilience and connect, contribute and grow as leaders in their community.
The Western Bulldogs are seeking nominations for young people who are willing to challenge themselves, eager to learn and want to contribute to their community. Candidates need not excel athletically or play sport to be considered but must be dedicated and passionate about developing themselves and contributing to their community.
We would love your help with identifying participants for 2018
All nominations are strictly confidential and the information provided will only be used to assist The Western Bulldogs Leadership Project selection panel in considering the merits of the nomination. A legal parent or guardian must be consulted by the nominator and their contact details provided. Please note, a nomination does not guarantee selection into the Project and incomplete nominations will not be considered.
Participants will be selected based on the strength and detail of the responses in the application. Participants must be prepared to attend 80% of workshops over the 6-month program and support the delivery of their councils Community Leadership Project.
Nominations close February 27th at 11:30pm and all applicants will be contacted mid-March regarding the outcome of their nomination.
