KSC Swimming Carnival

Record Breaking Day!

Kurunjang has had one of its best ever Swimming Carnivals! Students from all teams displayed their sporting abilities in the pool with some outstanding results.

Out of the pool, there was a sea of colour with the newly formed House teams wearing their colours on the day to great effect. From volleyball to an inter house Dance Off, the atmosphere on the day was immense. The day demonstrated that participation and engagement is well and truly on the rise.

We had many students break Kurunjang records on the day:

50m Breaststroke 14 boys: Liam Heimann 40.70

50m Breaststroke 15 Girls: Joanna Denoual 41.00

50m Freestyle 14 Boys: Liam Heimann 28.69

50m Backstroke 14 Boys: Liam Heimann 34.53

50m Backstroke 15 Girls: Joanna Denoual 37.87

50m Backstroke 17 Girls: Tiana Taylor 53.78

50m Butterfly 14 Boys: Will Murray 32.77

50m Butterfly 15 Girls: Joanna Denoual 33.06

The winning students in each of the races now have the opportunity to take their talents to the regional competitions.

The overall house results were,
