Divisional Swimming Carnival
On our Curriculum Day, 2 enthusiastic students were competing at the Division Swimming Carnival.
Congratulations to the following students:
- Zac Seeney who came 3rd in Breaststroke
- Shayla who came 1st in Breaststroke and 3rd in Butterfly
A huge achievement for both students! Well done!
Kayaking
Twenty lucky Year 6 students had the opportunity to try kayaking at Lilydale Lake last week. The session was run by Paddle Victoria instructors and included learning paddling techniques, playing games like ball tiggy and attempting to stand up on the kayak without falling in. Some student’s balance was better than others but everyone ended up in the water eventually.
Miss Schie and Mr Gill were amazed at the resilience of the Year 6's throughout the afternoon. They all did a fantastic job and developed their skills and confidence through the session.
