Student Voice

Our student leaders are very excited to announce that voting has begun to name our House bees. 

Can we please ask all families to take the time to vote for the name of our House Bees. Click Here to vote and let your voice be heard

Students will also vote while in their classroom and the student leaders will be accessible during Recess and Lunch on Monday to give students extra voting capacity.

Voting will close on Friday 11th of March. 

The winning name will be announced in the next Mackellar Newsletter.

Student Leaders Meeting

During our weekly meeting with Mrs Joanne Wood we have been working on our leadership and presentation skills. During these session we have been learning about the Blocks of Leadership and implementing them into our leadership role and our presentation at our weekly assemblies

At the moment we have been practising the Building Block of Presentation which allows our leaders to speak out.

We are learning to 

1. Speak Clearly

2. Stand Strong

3. Maintain Eye Contact

We have also started learning about the Building Block of Organisation which allows our leaders to plan ahead.

1.Think about what needs to be done

2. Make time

3. Take action
