Meet Jillian, The Patch Leader                                     

About me:    

 I would like to introduce myself as Jillian 

I have many years of experience within the Child Care Industry, I have a Diploma of Children’s Services Certificate as well as a Food Supervisor & OH&S certificate. 

My journey began as an Assistant in Childcare to management.            

 I have previously worked & managed multi-cultural Child Care Centres, while new families in Australia attended Chisholm to learn the English language.

I had the privilege of owning my own Child Care business, which I had for 8 years.  I enjoyed providing a professional service for families.   

More recently I decided that I would like a change, therefore gaining a position within a Before & After School Care company. As a coordinator, I ran this service for 7 years.   

I have now taken up a position at Holy Family Catholic Primary School, where I am enjoying meeting families & their children. I love watching children grow, bringing smiles to their faces, helping with their daily tasks & to nurture them in times of need.

My Hobbies and Interests:

I have a strong interest within ‘Aviation’, assisting to run a Community Youth Group.  I have been a member of The Australian Air League now for 22 years & I am still currently involved. 

I help to organise Community events, Anzac Day, Remembrance Day, Australia Day, Fun Flights, a member of Peninsula Aero Club just to name a few.   I help to organise Camps, my role is Camp cook, I love cooking up an array of delicious food for our children, and officers.  I am also involved in fundraising activities.

My hobbies are cruising, attending Carlton football games, attending Melbourne Stars Cricket matches, passion for animals & I love being an active member & spectator at Air Shows.

Our patch has been meticulously designed from the ground up to give children a voice & offer them a safe place of Wonder to Grow.
