Hello, 

‘CAUGHT YOU DOING RIGHT’ BLITZ

Over the next few weeks, we will be focusing on using appropriate language in different situations at school. In other words, we will be encouraging students to use good manners and language. 

All staff will have plenty of Caught You Doing Right cards for students who demonstrate this in the classroom and in the playground. 

We will be looking for students using more than ‘Thank you’ and ‘Please’ but using great language when speaking with their friends and classmates. Hopefully, we will run out of cards!

WORD OF THE WEEK CHALLENGE 

Last week’s Word of the Week Challenge for the word Hot. Students collaborating to earn a Caught You Doing Right card each.

Some of the words they found were: tasty, delicious, succulent, flavourful, scrumptious, appetizing, juicy, sweet, irresistible, delectable, scrummy, finger-licking good. 

For Week 8, the word that I would like you all to discuss (with your family, friends, classmates, etc) and see how many other words you can think of that have the same or similar meaning is:

                                                 Scared

Write down as many words as you can. It doesn’t matter if you think of one word or six words, that’s great!
