Year 2 Outdoor Education - Art on the Mountain | Wednesday 6 July - NEW DATE
Following an earlier postponement due to weather, on Wednesday 6 July 2022 all Year 2 students will be going to Mount Wellington/Kunanyi to explore how various cultures and individuals express themselves through the Arts. This is part of the Year 2 Outdoor Education program and will be facilitated by the Year 2 teachers and our Outdoor Education teacher, Lauren Stranger. The day will be in normal school hours and students will need to wear school sports uniform. It will be cold so please ensure students have sufficient layers of clothing including their school shell jacket. Please update student Operoo profiles before the excursion.
Student-Led Conferences | 20 June - 1 July
This term we are pleased to be able to invite you to share in your child’s learning through our PYP Student-Led Conferences (SLC). These important opportunities are an essential part of the PYP program; allowing your child a platform to share some of their learning achievements and demonstrate their developing skills for learning as they explain the many ways they are enacting the qualities of the IB Learner Profile.
These meetings continue in the classrooms until 1 July, booking information has been sent to families. We remind you that these meetings are not able to be held virtually. Should you be unable to attend your booked time and need to cancel or reschedule your SLC appointment, we ask that you contact your child’s teacher via email to let them know.
