2022 Mathematics Week celebration

The college will celebrate Mathematics Week from August 1-5 . As in the previous years, the whole week is full of different activities that will provide opportunities for each student to enjoy the manyapplications of Mathematics in their daily lives. Each student is encouraged to enter at least one of the activities set for the week.

The theme for this year’s Maths Week is : You are more than a Number!!! Some activities line–up for the celebration include the traditional Bake a cake/cupcake contest andthe Song and Poem Contest. We will also have Brain teaser competition at the beginning of eachMaths lessons. 

There will also be a Family Homework Sheet where parents, friends and relatives can join in by answering open-ended questions. This will challenge the creative thinking of mathematicallypromising families. Your Maths teachers will have a copy of this Homework sheet if you wish to join. The family that will generate the most number of points will win the competition.
