3 WAY LEARNING CONVERSATIONS

This year we invite parents and carers to come to school to meet the teacher/s and have a conversation about your child/ren’s learning progress to date.

At the interview parents /carers will be given the MID YEAR REPORTS and will have an opportunity to discuss with the teacher what next step will be and how we can work together to maximise the learning for all of our students.

Bookings will be available online – families will be sent the link next week.

Please make a time to bring your child to meetings with the teacher.

Meetings will be Monday- Thursday in week 10 this term.

Please also take to opportunity to meet with Mr M. Mr M teaches science as well as health and PE and would love to have the opportunity to meet parents and carers to discuss learning progress in these areas.

MID YEAR reports will not be sent home – we expect that parents and carers will come to a meeting to collect reports.

INTENSIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM

This will be reinstated in term 3.

Marta Cichonski has won the position of IELP Leader. Marta comes to us from Blair Athol North School and had 12 years’ experience teaching in the IELP.

We are very excited to have Marta join our staff team and look forward to leading improvement across the IELP and whole school.

BUILDING REINSTATEMENT

The steel frames are finally going up!

Students have been very interested in the crane work that has been going on.

We are still intending to move in during the term 3 holiday period.

CASUAL DAY

The Whole School Events student team are planning a casual day for week 9.
