Senior School Update

Regular timetabled classes have started back in week 8 for years 11 and 12, whilst year 10 students sat their mid year exams. VCE students sat their exams in week 8 and I’d like to congratulate students on their attendance and commitment to these assessments.

I’d also like to congratulate the year 11 and 12 VCAL students on completing their portfolio presentations during exam week. A lot of work went into these presentations and the students did a fantastic job of sharing their learning experiences for the semester. Additionally, the VCAL students had a great attendance for their ‘job camp’, which was a series of onsite courses such as RSA, Safe food handling and Barista training to finish off the term. A great new addition to the VCAL program, the students now have some extra training to add to their CVs.

Pictured is the second day of Job camp for the VCAL students.

We have our year 10 students out on work experience! We hope the students get the most out of the week, learning some new skills and experience what full time work might look like for them. Several pathways teachers have been out visiting students at the various workplaces this week.

Have a great break Senior School students!!
