Year 6A: Sarah Kelly (Team Leader)

Hi! I’m Miss Sarah and I am super excited to be 6A's teacher next year. It will be a wonderful year of great learning and fun. I can't wait to get to know you all.

I grew up in England with my Mum, Dad, two sisters and brother​. My parents are both from Ireland. I moved to Australia in 2021. 

In my spare time you can see me painting, hanging with friends or exploring Australia.​

I have been teaching since 2016.​ I love watching musicals at the theatre, my favourite musical is 'Wicked'!​

I love to smile. Positivity is my superpower.

Year 6B: Cathy Prendergast

Hello SMPS students and families! 

I’m Miss Cathy and I am super excited to be 6B's teacher next year. I can't wait to meet this incredible community I have heard so much about. 

I was born in Ireland and grew up on a farm with horses and cows. ​I have been teaching for 10 years now and moved to Australia in 2019. ​Recently I visited Vietnam - I love travelling! Some of my favourite foods are Pho, sushi and burritos. ​

I really enjoy swimming and going to the beach. ​

My favourite book is ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’.
