2023 Subject Lists Finalised

Please be informed that subjects have been finalised for students for 2023. All content has been uploaded to the Course Confirmation tab on your Dashboard on Compass available at:

Books and Resources for 2023

The Wheelers Hill SC Books and Resources Lists for 2023 are now online for parents to begin placing their orders.  

Ordering is to be completed online using the following link and code:

The code you need to access the list online is 39PP

Parents need to place their orders by Friday 9 December 2022.

Orders will be delivered to the nominated address by 25 January 2023.

The Compass portal also contains agreements, policies and other important information that require your attention. Hard copies of all documentation have also been made available on Compass in the Community Tab - School Documentation – Course Confirmation 2023 Year Level folders.  This facility gives parents/guardians the flexibility to electronically:

• Confirm enrolment and check course selections
• Complete consent of permission forms i.e., authority to publish student image, sports permission, parent occupation update and view agreements based on school policies
• Fully pay or organize instalment payments for levies and charges

The ongoing support of all our families ensures that we can strive to achieve high-quality educational outcomes, excellent facilities and a stimulating learning environment which engages and supports all learners to achieve their personal best. 

Should you wish to set up an alternative payment plan, require different payment preferences or have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Business Manager at the College via email at business.manager@whsc.vic.edu.au.  Please ensure you have addressed the requirements on Course Confirmation before the end of Term 4, 2022.

Yearbook Orders 2022 

If you would like to have a printed copy of this years Wheelers Hill SC 2022 'The Hill' Magazine, please fill in this form. 

The school will notify you when orders are ready to be collected from the front office. Please send through your orders by COB Friday 9th December. 

SPACE-X-PLORE USA STEM & SPACE TOUR SEPTEMBER 2023

OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS

An opportunity exists for students at school in years 8 to 11 to take part in a one in a lifetime Space & STEM based trip called ‘Space-X-plore USA’  heading to the United States of America for 11 days in the September 2023 school holidays.

Destinations include: NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Orlando, Florida, followed by STEM based activities in San Francisco & Los Angeles, California.  Highlights include: ATX Astronaut training program, Mars Base 1 program, Kennedy Space Centre complex, Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco City Tour, USS Hornet aircraft carrier program, The Exploratorium, Knotts Berry Farm ‘Energy in Motion’ program, Hollywood Tour,  Universal Studios & Disneyland! 

The cost is currently $9,495.00* with hopes for a reduction on this rate once airlines The trip departs from Melbourne international airports and includes the following: International & USA domestic airfares, transfers, accommodation, travel insurance, breakfasts daily & most meals and admissions to attractions.

The program is open to 5 schools in the Monash & Waverley area and an information session will be held at South Oakleigh College on Tuesday 29th November at 6:30pm in the lecture theatre. It will also be live streamed.

 SPRING MUSIC SHOWCASE 2022

The Spring Music Showcase is being held in D01 next Monday November 28th. All school ensembles will be performing including the Concert Band, Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and VET Music Bands. 

Students will need to arrive at school by 6pm to warm up. The show will commence at 7pm in D01, and conclude by around 8:30pm. Please make a donation on entry by Gold Coin or eftpos.  We are looking forward to sharing the music we have been rehearsing this semester with you!
