Outside School Hours Care

What a wonderful start for OSHC this year. We have seen friendships blossom and the kid’s confidence grow while having fun at before and after school care. We have been lucky enough to welcome Flash and Kong to our team who have been wonderful support animals, the kids love giving them cuddles and helping to look after them.

We have been able to cook with the children making many delicious, healthy snacks and meals. The kids have loved their rainbow crunch platters that are full of fresh fruit, vegetables, crackers, cheese, meats and dip. Will be doing a lot more cooking next year!

We have been lucky to be able to use the KLC for sporting activities. On fine afternoons the kids have played outside utilizing the sandpit, games on the oval or use the playground equipment.

We have enjoyed a lot of sensory play this year including various slimes, edible slime, Oobleck, playdough, rice sensory bins, water beads and shaving cream.

We have had puzzles, colouring in, quite time activities, movie days with snacks, an inside picnic with the kids on a wet day, camouflage inside, balloon tennis and so much more.

Lately we have been busy with our Christmas activities. The kids have made their own wrapping paper, Christmas tree ornaments, have decorated the Christmas tree and made their names using Chrissy colours. They have had a Christmas sensory bin, filled with amazing smells of Christmas!

We had a visit from Lily, Charlie and Patrick’s puppies, they gave the kids lots of cuddles and enjoyed napping on the kids while they did their work. Thanks for bringing them in and sharing them with us.
