Library News

Miss Debbie

Welcome to the Library for 2023

I look forward to helping your child select books that they can’t wait to read.  Please feel free to drop into the library if you need help selecting books for your child, or you have any other questions.

There is a new “Awesome Author” display in the entrance to our library under the circus tent.  The “Awesome Author” is Ursula Dubosarsky. Ursula has written over 60 books including picture story books, early reading books, middle grade novels and young adult novels.  We have some of her books on display, see photo below.

We also have a book display featuring rabbits as it is “The Year of the Water Rabbit” which began on January 22, 2023.

Books that need returning from 2022

I get very excited when you find a book that needed to have been returned last year.  Please send any library books from last year to the library as soon as possible.  I am hoping that some of you found these books over the holidays, and I appreciate the time you may have spent looking for them.

Book Club for 2023

Once again, we will be doing the Scholastic Book Club each term.  The book catalogue should have come home with your child this week.  Ordering closes at 9:00am on Monday 13th February. Please note we don’t accept cash orders.  Please order online following the instructions for ordering with a credit card on the back page of the catalogue.
