Santos Science Experience

On June 27th two of our Year 9 students participated in the Santos Science Experience, a program for Year 9 and 10 students who would like to have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of science activities. This event was supported by the Rotary Club of Ballarat and included activities related to physics and biology, a visit to Ballarat Gold Mine and learning about Sports Science at Federation University Gym. 

On Thursday 1st December Nuaym Haque, his father Ershadul and l attended a meeting with the Rotary Club of Ballarat where Nuaym presented his experience of the Santos Science Experience at Federation University. 

Nuaym did a wonderful job presenting, even after his PowerPoint failed to work. He had the audience engrossed in his detailed description of each part of the program and at times, had the crowd laughing. He impressed all in the room with his engaging manner and confidence.
