Junior School Sports Day

Last Monday we held the Junior School Sports Day, and what a morning it was where we were able to see our little Athletes get to work in a number of different events.  To the parents who came along, thanks for your support, this created an awesome atmosphere on the oval!  To the Year 5 helpers, well done, you did a marvellous job leading each event, we are in good hands with that crop of Year 6’s next year!  The results were announced on Friday at the assembly, and reiterate these;

1st Place – Snakes (828 points!)

2nd Place – Sharks (558 points)

3rd Place  – Eagles (546 points)

4th Place – Spiders (318 points)

Congrats to all the Snakes, and to everyone for contributing to their houses on the day!

3-6 Swimming Sports

On Monday we ran the Swimming Sports which was a terrific day despite slightly challenging weather – if only we had Sunday’s weather instead!  Well done to all our swimmers who competed in all of the mainstream events, which will feed into our Swim Squad for early next year and those who enjoyed some of the novelty events, which were hugely popular and created a lot of good vibes on the day!  I was very pleased to see all who attended getting plenty of opportunity to compete in the pool, well done to you all.  The results will be announced on Friday so standby for those!  Thanks to the parents who came along to support, and the teachers who put in a huge day ensuring the event ran smoothly.
