Faith at St Joseph's...

Beginning of School Mass: Friday 10th of February @ 2:00pm.

Our Beginning of school mass will be held in the prayer garden.

Father Shymon will celebrate mass with the school community.

There will be a BBQ following the mass to welcome in the new school year. 

Linking Faith, Wellbeing and Learning 

Here is our first Slideshow for the Year.  The focus is 

Who am I, How can I flourish and make a difference in the world?

The focus themes will run over 2 weeks to enable the teachers and students to really develop the themes together as a class.

Welcome back to a new school year. In 2023 we will continue to provide slideshow prayers on the Remote Learning Website with a big focus on providing parents with some faith slideshows at the adult level.

The slideshow prayers will be directed at the level of the parents and the teachers will then create their own prayers to share with the children.

We believe that it is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with students and parents to make explicit the links between faith and wellbeing. Each week this will be woven into the prayers for the students and parents, the newsletters and the assemblies, etc so there is a deeper learning experience for all.  It is designed to embed the frameworks below. 

We will also use the liturgical calendar to link our faith traditions using scripture each week to bring alive our faith and enhance the spirituality and wellbeing of all of our community.
