Community Support

WOW!!!!

I put out one post on Skoolbag to ask for community support for a family in distress and the Jells Park community responded magnificently. It was a stunning response and shines a light on how generous people can be. Heartwarming for all concerned and certainly overwhelming for the family we have assisted. The community has filled the food cupboard multiple times over, provided cash for bills and household items that could never be afforded. It is clear that as a community we have helped put this family back on their feet and provided brighter prospects for the future. THANK YOU everyone.

Any families still wishing to donate, we will happily accept, however maybe space it out a few weeks so that we are not overloaded. TA.

Performance Showcase

Is on TONIGHT, Thursday 9 August. This event is not to be missed, so please come and enjoy a meal from the food trucks and the performances from 6.00pm.

Amplify

The newest resource provided by the Education Department as a part of the Framework for Improving Student Outcome (FISO) initiative is 'Amplify - Empowering students through voice, agency and leadership'.  This initiative aims to give students an opportunity to have purposeful contributions to their own learning. It will be a key feature of our Strategic Plan going forward, so worth knowing more about and how you can support your childs learning from home.
