D-PAWS PROGRAM

You may have noticed Ziggy is now sporting a very attractive dog version of our school uniform. Her new red coat is courtesy of Mr Small's sister's housemate's mother- which just goes to show that everyone loves Ziggy!

Recently Ziggy has been spending more time out of the Level 5 classrooms and is becoming more independent when in the other grades.

Little Ziggy is now about 18 months old, and is becoming more aware of the world around her. She has developed a new behaviour of barking at people when she is unsure about them. We are working with Ziggy to let her know that people in our school community are friendly. Please don't take it personally if she barks at you, it is just a phase and she will be back to her friendly self soon!

In Mr O'Kane's absence, Ziggy has been enjoying her time in the Assistant Principal Chair, offering very helpful guidance to Miss Mcleod when needed.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Mr Small on r.small@jpps.vic.edu.au

We are very fortunate to have three community sponsors already and are always looking for more, so if you or anyone you know might be able to help please contact Mr Small via email.

Families are also able to donate toward the cost of Ziggy's care through the Qkr app.

A huge thank you to Mulgrave Country Club for their generous donation towards Ziggy's training and food costs, Brandon Park Vet for their support of the program through free puppy classes and subsidized vet costs and to Waverley Park Dental Care for covering the costs of Ziggy's obedience training.
