Junior Hooptime

Yesterday 51 Level 3 and 4 students went by bus to the Dandenong Basketball stadium to participate in the Junior Hooptime Round Robin Tournament. Jells Park entered 6 teams, there were 4 Future Stars teams and 2 Rookie teams. Our first games started at 9:30 and we played 2 eight minute halves for each game. We played 4 or 5 games in the round robin stage. All the teams had at least one win. Then it was time for the finals. The JP Patriots who were coached by former student Lachlan W were lucky enough to make it to the semi-finals where they won easily making it through to the Grand Final. In the Grand Final it was close at half time but the other team had a good start and their lead was too much. It was great having a huge cheer squad from all the other teams to cheer us on. Thanks to the parents for giving up their time to coach us on the day. Thanks also to Mr. Kal and Mr. Noordhoff for organising it all.
