Study a Bachelor of Biodiversity and Conservation at Macquarie

Conservation efforts are critical to protecting the diversity of life on Earth. If you have a passion for the environment and conservation, the Bachelor of Biodiversity and Conservation from Macquarie University could be the degree for you.

You will learn about several different areas including plant and animal sciences, genetics, evolution and ecology together with environmental and conservation management.

As part of the degree you’ll have the opportunity to participate in work-integrated learning, including work placements with one of our many industry partners, field trips and hands-on experiences.

Macquarie is also home to an 11-hectre fauna park, giving you access to world-class environmental research right here on campus.

The Selection Rank for entry into this course is 80. You can study the course at either Macquarie’s North Ryde campus, or by distance education.
