Swimming – Manar Mahfouz, Year 9, has just returned from competing at the Australian Age Championships in Brisbane. She qualified for the 100m butterfly event – she finished 21st.
Cricket - Jason Hibbert, yr 9, won the Western Region best player and batting award for the Region team at the State Championships.
Go Karting - Jade Vogele, Yr 10, competed in the A
ustralian Go Karting Championships last weekend and achieved an outstanding result. She placed 4th in juniors and 6th in junior standards! So she is ranked number 4 in the National rankings.
Team Sports - Volleyball
Senior Girls – lost to Staughton
Senior boys – lost to both Staughton and Gisborne
Intermediate Girls – def Kurunjang but lost the final to Sunbury in a terrific game – 21/16, 21/19
Intermediate boys – def Kurunjang but lost to Staughton

Some really good efforts by the team as the standard at this level is very high. – 5 x 2nds and 1 x 3rd placings total.

Amart Sports - Melton SC has joined the community kickbacks program with Amart Sports in Woodgrove. Every time you make a purchase just mention our school and we will receive 5% of the purchase amount. We have the same arrangement with REBEL SPORTS and their Season Pass kickback.
Melton Hockey Club - The Melton Hockey club are a very progressive local club who are always looking for more members. They have a wide array of competitions. They run an internal u/8 program: for u/10 the program is called Game On. They also run Hook 2 for ages 5-12. They have a group of competitions for men and women, for all ages, young and even masters level. A social competition is also played.
