Ping Pong Tournament

On the last week of term 3, the RTL classes got to go and play a ping pong tournament. We got to pick a partner for our team and then pick a name for our teams. All the teams went through stages to try and go to the finals. The two finalist teams faced each other. The round went on for about 10 minutes. What ever team won had to face the two RTL teachers that were there on that day.

Mystery Missions

Mystery missions are when a team or one person can pick a topic to work on and then come up with questions for it. The topics of some teams were: Art, Entertainment and Computer/Technology. My team worked on Art. Our project revolved around 'What is art?'. Olivia conducted an interview with a professional artist and art teacher

 'Michala'. Emily and I went to a sculpture park and researched about all the different types of art. Neila and Icíar created some art pieces. 

Design Thinking

Design thinking is where we have to create different things for different subjects. On one of the lessons we had to create an outfit for a theme, with a bin bag, paper, newspaper and tape. A couple of the themes for this were Medieval, Japanese, Spacesuit, Disco, Starwars, soccer outfit for the 2018 World Cup and 000. My team chose Japanese and we won with our outfit. Emily and I created a Samurai outfit on our lovely friend Icíar, who was modelling. The other class on Wednesday won for the medieval theme. They created a princess with the bin bag for the skirt

Young Innovators

We learnt about young innovators all over the world. We learnt about a girl who makes outfits with environmental friendly materials. A boy called Josh berry who collected socks for homeless people and a couple of other kids. We now are coming up with an invention to make lives better.
