ANZAC DAY

ANZAC Day celebrations never looked so different in the history of our nation. Nonetheless, the day still presented an opportunity for Australians to come together as one, in unique circumstances. Many of us gathered in driveways at dawn to commemorate the importance of ANZAC Day, whilst others watched lone buglers play the Last Post on the television at various locations around the country. Wherever or however we gathered, it was always for the same reason. To recognise and commend those men and women who fought for our country, our freedom, in all corners of the globe.

This also mirrors the wonderful work our frontline workers, our health workers, are doing to battle another type of enemy to keep our nation’s people safe. For this we are grateful.

We take this opportunity as well, to remember the four fallen policemen and women who lost their lives last week doing their jobs. May they too rest in peace.

Brain Breaks are important!

Last week, approximately 35 students who are unable to learn from home came to school. They worked with Mrs Perrins and some of our other staff. Mrs Perrins taught them how to have a brain break.

It is important that we move regularly during the day, especially when spending time at the computer or iPad!

Check out this awesome project about puppies that Diana in Foundation has done at home!
