HHS Swimming Carnival

The sun was hidden behind a few clouds as the students streamed through the gates of the outdoor pool, resplendent in some beautiful and colourful 'Under The Sea' costumes.

It didn't take long before the competitors took to the pools to compete in not only the regular swimming races, but also to participate in Year level cork scrambles, basketball and even a bombing competition.

The smiles on the faces and the cheers from the sidelines were feedback enough to know that the 2020 HHS Swimming Carnival was a huge success.

The Chris Honeycombe Memorial Award is to acknowledge the champion female and champion male competitors each year and the 2020 winners are Lily Clements who earned 78 points in 8 events for Yarra House and Tyler Barclay contributed 36 points for Maroondah House by competing in four events. Congratulations to you both.
