Thank you again to all parents and carers for being extremely conscious of the Covid 19 restrictions.  Both pick up and drop off times have been extremely smooth thanks to everyone being so organised and patient.

I have left the Return to School information letter attached for anyone who may have missed it.

Weekly Mass Online

Each Saturday, a video of Mons Peter celebrating the Sunday mass is emailed out to families and parishioners. Tom Diamond is doing a brilliant job producing the video each week - thank you Tom! St Vinnies Winter Appeal

We are once again asking families to have a look through pantries and wardrobes for food items and good quality second hand clothes for this year's St Vinnies Winter Appeal.  Vinnies have been extremely grateful of the generosity of St Mary's families for what is an essential community service. We are having a special liturgy as part of our assembly this week and we are welcoming some of the St Vinnies workers for a special morning tea with our Social Justice Team

Notre Dame Virtual Tour

With schools being unable to hold Open Days this year, Notre Dame have produced a virtual tour which can be accessed through their website - NDC Website.

School Fees

I understand that during the Covid 19 restriction period, many families have faced financial hardship.  If this applies to you and you are having difficulties paying school fees, please contact me to discuss a payment plan.

Online Emotion Coaching

Please find attached a flyer for our online zoom workshop called Emotion Coaching: Connecting With Our Kids which is being held next Wednesday 24th June 2020 from 10am to 12pm. This workshop is for parents and carers of children aged 2 to 10 years. Details on where to register can be found on the flyer.

New School App

Please note that our old school App is no longer functional, Simon Everywhere is our new communication centre and offers the same features as the old App. We ask families to discontinue using the old App, in particular for student absences, and ensure you have access to Simon Everywhere.

Principal's Award

Week 8 Charla Varapodio

Charla has done particularly well during the remote learning period.  She not only gained high quality results, but showed the initiative to complete extra work.  Thank you for being such a wonderful role model Charla!

Week 9 Zoe Pearson

Zoe is a very kind and friendly student who is always extremely polite and respectful.

She worked very hard during remote learning

and has always been a real quiet achiever! Students like Zoe,  play an important part of the caring and calm environment here at St Mary's.  Well done Zoe!

Last of Term 2

Next Friday 26th June is the last day of term and the students will be dismissed at 2:20pm.  Buses will also be running an hour earlier.
