Sport

Cross Country Friday 26th June.
Next Friday all students will participate in St Luke's Cross Country event. Students are encouraged to come dressed in their House Colours (Hicks-Blue, Murray-Green, Amedei-Orange, Nolan-Yellow, Dickinson-Red) in suitable running attire.
Due to co-vid unfortunately it means no parents are allowed on site.
The event will take place from 12.00-1.30 on the school oval/grounds.
The Foundation students will be running 1 lap of the course (500 metres), Junior Learning Community running 2 laps (1 km), Middle Learning Community running 3 laps (1.5km) and Senior learning community running 4 laps (2km).
Good luck and have fun everyone!
St Luke’s Netball
The Committee of Management of the SNA have resolved that the Saturday Winter Junior and Afternoon Competition has been cancelled for 2020.
St Luke’s Netball Club registration fees will be refunded to all families and I will be advised when these are ready for collection.
Netball Victoria have indicated they aren’t making automatic refunds for VNA registration, however players with hardship could seek reimbursement individually. If you would like to discuss this with Netball Victoria, you can call them directly (03) 9321 2222 or send a request via their website: https://vic.netball.com.au/contact-us

2020 Winter Soccer Season - Note from SJSA
Hi All,
Hope this finds everyone well whilst some return to a new normal for the moment.
Please note we will need confirmation asap of players wishing to remove their childfrom participating in the coming season.
Key Notes from SJSA:
· Current commencement – July 18th (format and how the season will run still TBA)
· Season will run from 10 or 14 weeks (still to be decided and voted on)
o SJSA have noted that the season will end prior to any summer sports commencing.
I will need to lodge our team numbers (& re-shuffle if/and where required) and lodge with SJSA so they are able to work with council as to how many teams and the format of the season.
I am conscious that the format (although not sure what that looks like at this point) may raise some concerns, please do feel free to contact me personally and I am happy to assist where possible to ensure that the kids get a welcome return and assist where required. They have all done so well through this time and would love to see them enjoy something to look forward to again.
This is a very trying time for everyone, so I very much appreciate if you can please advise if your child is not playing, otherwise silence will assume they will be participating.
Prefer to have confirmation either way.
Regards
Lissette Payne
