Book Week 2023

During August, schools across Australia celebrate Children’s Book Week with a focus on exemplary Australian authors and illustrators.

Book Week 2023 at St. Peter’s will be held from Monday the 31st of July to Friday the 4th of August and will focus on showcasing the diverse and exemplary shortlist of literature for young people as well as celebrating the wonderful myriad of stories we have read through thought-provoking displays, fun activities, and daily competitions. 

The 2023 Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) theme is:

‘Read’, ‘Grow’, ‘Inspire’

At St.Peter’s we will be exploring how our wide reading leads us to grow in our understanding of the world and inspires us to learn more about ourselves and our place in the world.
