WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!

Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents / caregivers / guardians think of our school. The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education that is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage all families to participate. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies.

A random sample of approximately 30 per cent of parents / caregivers / guardians will be selected to participate in this year’s survey. We would be very grateful if you could keep a look out if you are one of the computer generated parents selected, and complete the survey when you have a few spare minutes.

The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open from Monday 7 August to Friday 8 September 2023.

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any assistance or have any questions.

Many thanks in advance.

Grade 3/4 Camp

We have been lucky enough to secure some additional funding and have booked the Cave Hill Creek Camp for the Grade 3/4's in December.

Lachie has distributed a video for parent viewing. This will give parents an understanding of the great activities and facilities at this camp. It also answers a few additional questions that parents might need an answer to.

We are hoping all students can attend this wonderful camp and enhance and grow their self confidence.

Leaving Early

Just a reminder to parents that if you are collecting your child early from school we need a written note lodged at the office by 9am on the day. We then distribute the list to the class teachers so we are not continually interupting learning time with announcements.
