French Class 1/2

This week we worked together as a class, to each choose an item of outer wear, and to create a sentence about our choice.  Once we had a grasp of this task we worked in smaller groups.  

We started our sentences with Je porte.......then chose options from des, un, et, une, bottes, echarpe, gants, bonnet.

Each student had an opportunity to choose as many items as they liked, to challenge their group to then write the sentence, including punctuation marks. 

Buddie Program

Preps and grade 6's got together in teams to play Yahtzee to really get those mathematic minds going. Our Grade 6 students stepped up to really help our younger students to complete a more complicated task.
