From the Classroom - M1 (Jessica)

In our Humanities unit this term, Year 1/2 students are learning all about water. We began our unit brainstorming wonderings about water that showed us what the students wanted to learn about water. We displayed these wonderings in our shared gallery area which is going to display all of our learning about water from the term. 

In recent weeks, we have searched for and recorded different water sources around our school and have learnt about the rain cycle. 

This week, students got to complete a 'Rain Cloud' experiment, that demonstrates to the students how rain occurs. We are then going to use this experiment to write a procedure about it in writing, including the goal, materials and steps to complete the experiment.
