Year 9 

Tafe tester in Animal 

Care and Carpentry.

A group of year 9 students attended Melbourne Polytechnic for a Tafe tester in Animal care and Carpentry. The students were given a tour of the campus the chance to see the facilities, learn more about the program and watch some current students in action.

The Carpentry students participated in a hands-on activity where they built their own Sawhorse, while the Animal group were lucky enough to meet a trained seeing eye dog, a baby lamb, and a kitten. 

The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We are so proud of how well they represented our school values and their willingness to explore new ideas.
