From the Principal's desk

Wow, it was a very busy week last week. The year 5/6 students presented their business' to the kinder students on Tuesday and Friday. All of the groups had business cards and activities to hand out to the kinder students. I had great delight asking the kinder students what they had collected in their goodie bag to take home. Seeing their faces as they were interacting with our students was fantastic and the year 5/6 students should be very proud of themselves.

I was also very lucky to attend the 'Lightning Premiership' last Wednesday. I helped support the netball teams and was amazed by their resilience and persistence throughout the day. Congratulations to the football team on making the grand final and a special mention to our 'Premiers' the Softball Team. All teams represented the school well and demonstrated great sportsmanship, well done!

Events coming up:

On the 18th of August the Prep to Year 2 students will visit the Kyabram Fauna Park for the day. I am very excited to be attending this day with them. On Tuesday the 12th of September the staff will be heading along to other schools to complete observations as part of their professional practice. On this day students are not required at school and TheirCare will be available. On Thursday 24th August students who received a 'Principal's award' for term 2 will be able to celebrate together with a lunch provided.
