Parents and Friends Committee

The Parents and Friends committee extend a very huge thank you to two wonderful Op shops in our area who have made a wonderful donation towards our school.

We thank the Garfield Op Shop for their donation of funds which will be put towards new readers for our students and also the St Thomas' Church for their donation towards sensory equipment.

It was also wonderful to see three of our students, Luke, Zac and Charlie accepting thedonation from the Garfield Op Shop.   

We are busy preparing for the upcoming Colour Fun Run. All students should of received their fundraising book, with information on how to create an online profile. It is best and easiest if you can fundraise through this, but if unable to, please reach out to us, and we can accept cash donations also. The event will be held in the afternoon of Friday the 1st of September, with all students to please wear a white t-shirt, so they can really see the colour that we explode onto them!

We will also be holding our annual Fathers Day stall on Wednesday the 30th of August for the students to purchase a present for the special father/father figure in their life. Item range in price from $1-$6. We will also be opening the stall for siblings one afternoon that week - stay tuned for more details. 

Breakfast club is going well, being held on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday morning from 8:30 am until the bag bell. We love seeing all the children who attend, and enjoy watching them choose their breakfast each morning, and chatting to their friends. 

There is a variety of food that is close by, or past it best before date out the front of room 4. Please everyone help yourselves to these items. 

Parent helpers are always vital to these endeavors, and we welcome any assistance we can get, big or small. If you would like to volunteer, please either speak to the school, or P&F can be reached on bunyip_pf@hotmail.com. 

A reminder that all parents volunteering around the school must have a voluntary working with children check done.  This can be applied for usually at your closest post office and is free of charge.  Please show a copy of the receipt to the office and once card is received, the office will need to take a photocopy.
